NY Consul General and Hubei Vice Governor Visit
On September 22, the Greater Columbus Chinese Chamber of Commerce and JobsOhio held a Policy Luncheon at the Blackwell Inn to discuss the current US-China business climate. The event featured a panel of distinguished guests: Daochi Tong, the Vice Governor of Hubei Province; Yumin Zhao, the Acting China Consul General in NY; and Andrew Deye, the Managing Director of JobsOhio.
On September 22, the Greater Columbus Chinese Chamber of Commerce and JobsOhio held a Policy Luncheon at the Blackwell Inn to discuss the current US-China business climate. The event featured a panel of distinguished guests: Daochi Tong, the Vice Governor of Hubei Province; Yumin Zhao, the Acting China Consul General in NY; and Andrew Deye, the Managing Director of JobsOhio. Each speaker gave voice to their represented regions and provided interpretations on the international trade environment.

The luncheon, organized by the Greater Columbus Chinese Chamber of Commerce and JobsOhio aimed to create dialogue between professionals on the front line of international trade and business relations. Speakers touched on topics including tariffs and the escalating trade war, but also on Chinese consumer sentiments and how business partnerships can be fostered between Ohio and its “sister state” in China, Hubei province.
