US Export Controls: Current Events and Future Trends

On November 4th, 2021, attorneys Sunny Yang and Matt Lapin of Chinese Chamber member Porter Wright presented on US export control laws to a combined audience from the Cleveland Chinese Chamber, Columbus Chinese Chamber, and America China Society of Indiana.

Their detailed and succinct presentation clarified the different ways in which the US government regulates trade internationally, including sanctions, reviews of technology exported from the US, reviews of goods exported via third-party countries, and others.
