Thinking about greenfielding new operations in Ohio? Think SiteOhio

Brendan Murry of JobsOhio gave an informative presentation on their SiteOhio initiative to the Columbus Chinese Chamber on Sept. 2, 2020, highlighting how much the state has put into making it easy to choose Ohio for a greenfield investment.

SiteOhio is an inventory of shovel-ready real estate in Ohio that has already been vetted in terms of available utilities and many aspects of due diligence, including:

• Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA)

• Phase II ESA (if required by the Phase I)

• Geotechnical Report (soil bearing capacity)

• Wetlands Delineation

• Phase I Cultural Resources (Archaeological) Study

• Endangered Species Analysis with confirmation of no findings

Sites in the inventory include photos, maps, and drone footage, making it easy to do initial research remotely.
